She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education with a specialty in Early Childhood Education from Edinboro State University in Pennsylvania. In addition, she has Graduate Studies in Elementary Education from the University of South Carolina and the University of Alabama. As far as teaching experience is concerned, she has over 15 years within the elementary school level having taught in private bilingual schools in Mexico and public schools in The United States of America. Also she has taught ESL to adults/children and has given workshops and in-service training courses throughout Mexico.
