Trails
Trails is a new dynamic three-level course for children starting English as from nine years old. Its graded, hands-on proposal takes learners from a true beginner to an elementary level. In the same way real children turn into pre-teens, so do the characters and their interests in the series, accompanying students in their developmental process.

Key features:
- Units are built around topics of interest for the age group and provide excellent opportunities for cross-curricular work.
- There is a strong literacy and critical skills development throughout the course by which students are encouraged to discuss and give personal opinions and there are opportunities for personalisation in the It's your turn! and Over to you! sections.
- Projects, games and consolidation units provide children with thorough recycling and integration of contents.
- A Tool Kit section helps children with grammar and offers them opportunities for further learning. This is linked to the Tool Kit Reference at the end of the book where students will find grammar practice.
- There is also a Vocabulary Reference section at the end of the book where the key words learnt in each lesson are recorded, and in the Web Quest section students are encouraged to find out and collect information on different topics.
- The Teacher's Book and Resource Kit provide a wide range of teaching resources such as photocopiable extra activities and tests, links to web pages and useful background information for teachers.
- The Annual Planning and the DVD-ROM featuring real children in everyday situations together with the worksheets accompanying it, will help teachers save planning time and spice up their lessons.
